Wild card

Said no one, ever. (Inside card).

Birthday salad, anyone? Not unless the croutons are made of cake!

Leafy greens are not a popular choice for a birthday treat, and they’re unexpected on a birthday card. I was surprised to find a design for salad on Silhouette’s site … two, even.

I had to add a little fun, though, so I gave the straw red stripes. Now it’s a party.

Die-cuts: lemonade glass by Lisa Norris (I removed the lemon slice and made the lemonade blue to represent water), summer icons by Carina Gardner (for the straw; I added red stripes), salad and breadsticks by Michelle Renee, salad word by Sarah Bailey (to add variety to my bowl of salad). I made everything print-and-cut designs.
