Are you ready to say “hello” to Halloween? I definitely am, despite the uncharacteristically warm weather (It’s 80 degrees? Hello, windy picnic in the park!). I love this time of year, when the temps get just chilly enough — sometimes — to validate sweaters, soup and hot apple cider.
I had a lot of fun with this card. In my mind, if the Grim Reaper were to drop by, the perfect greeting would be a causal ” ‘sup.” This card has a plenty of texture, including the embossed white cardstock — I have a stack of different patterns from Die Cuts With a View, and I’ve been using it a lot lately. For the pop-out banner, I connected the bottom layer into one piece in my design software, which made it easier to line up with the top portion.
Die-cuts: Ripper peekaboo and Halloween witch boots frame by Jamie Koay and 3 banners by Sweet Afton. I removed the witch boots in the frame to make a window for the Ripper design, both of which were printed on cardstock. I reversed and shortened the banner and printed it on white textured cardstock.
Font: Delinquente
Cardstock: white textured (for the banner), lavender textured, embossed white by Die Cuts With a View, “Cob Webs” (B-side) from the Haunted Manor collection by Doodlebug Design Inc. and “Wicked Witch” from the Halloween Hoopla collection by SEI

Your cards are fantastic. I would have never thought to put that reaper in that frame. Adorable.
