Holiday hat

IMG_3697

This little penguin is up to his heart-shaped buttons in holiday cheer. I was tempted to write “let it go” in the talk bubble, but not everyone would get the “Frozen” reference. I don’t think there are penguins in the film, anyway (I’m one of the few people in this county who has not seen it). To make the snow mound, I drew a slope on the back of my cardstock in pencil, cut it out and trimmed it to fit the square.

Stamp: Penguin from the Sending Cheer Decorate It! collection by Hero Arts for Target in black ink (Versafine in onyx black); cut out using detail scissors

Die-cut: Talk bubble (provided with Silhouette Studio software)

Patterned paper: “Nestled” (B-side) from the Cozy collection by Authentique

Santa hat: Jolee’s Boutique holiday sticker by EK Success

Other: white, light-blue and red textured cardstock; dimensional adhesive; silver metallic gel pen
